Charity Ball Cancellation - COVID-19
On March 10, 2020, the Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors declared a local emergency and adopted the recommendations of the County Health Director to recommend people not attend any "mass gathering" of 50 persons or more. As the spread of COVID-19 (Novel Coronavirus) continues to grow in the county and nation-wide, the health director found it necessary to make these recommendations. As such, we found it imprudent and perhaps even dangerous to continue with our large charity ball. We typically have over 400 guests attending this event. Out of an abundance of caution for our guests, wait staff, volunteers and performers, we have decided to cancel the event. We will be reaching out to confirmed guests over the next few days.
Thank you for your understanding. We plan on being back for the outstanding charity ball in March, 2021.
