SHERIFF'S CHARITIES
Sheriff's Charities is a 501(c)(3) organization. The Posse Board of Directors serves as the governing body for Sheriff's Charities, Inc. as well. Sheriff's Charities donates to worthwhile charitable causes throughout Contra Costa County.
The two largest fundraisers are the "Sheriff's Annual Ball Benefitting Local Charities" held in March each year, and the annual golf tournament held in October. Click below to learn more.

What Does a Posse Membership Mean to You?
Posse members are those people who support law enforcement, safe communities and seek out ways to help those less fortunate among us. The Posse has a long tradition of holding first class events for our members, raising funds for worthwhile charities located in Contra Costa County, and having fun while doing it! With over 500 members from across the county and beyond, the Sheriff's Posse and its companion organization, Sheriff's Charities [a 501(c)3 organization] are founded on the principles of honor, integrity and respect.
